In the letter given to the ACC on April 21, it is said that former Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Benazir Ahmed retired on September 30, 2022 after serving for 34 years and 7 months. After retirement, Benazir Ahmed has acquired a huge amount of property in the name of his wife and daughters which is disproportionate to his income.

In such a situation, former Inspector General of Bangladesh Police Benazir Ahmed requested the ACC to investigate and take necessary legal action against his wife, elder daughter and younger daughter for amassing huge amounts of illegal wealth.
