If someone gets nominated despite having less money, he somehow manages it—either by getting donations from the party or help from well-wishers. And if someone is a minister or holds such a big responsibility, their money should not be a problem in elections.

Recently, the news of an opposite incident in India has come to the attention of many. India’s Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has turned down an offer to contest the Lok Sabha elections citing insufficient funds.
