Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs, Jains don’t want to give citizenship to refugees’, Union Home Minister Amit Shah (Amit Shah Hits Out Mamata Banerjee On CAA) made a clear complaint. He also said, ‘Mamata Banerjee is condoning the intruders.’ Shah’s criticism of the Bengal Chief Minister’s opposition to the CAA has been heard before. He took the tone of that criticism a few steps on the stage of election campaign and said, ‘I promise, all Hindu refugees will get citizenship.’

Today, Congress has said that it will repeal CAA if it comes to power. I say, Congress, Mamatadi, no one will dare to touch CAA. All Hindu refugees will get citizenship.’ In an interview given to ANI last March, the Union Home Minister claimed, ‘CAA is not a matter of politics for the BJP. BJP wants to give citizenship to refugees from Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Pakistan. He also said, ‘The opposition is trying to consolidate the vote bank by playing politics of favoritism.’ This time the Trinamool leader is directly attacked with this.
