Jamaat has announced a two-day program to get rid of the severe heat wave across the country. According to the announcement, next Wednesday and Thursday, the group will perform Salatul Istiska, seeking Allah’s mercy and rain. Shafiqur Rahman has called upon the countrymen to pray to Allah for the rain of Allah’s mercy by performing Istiska Namaz, expressing deep concern over the intense heat wave across the country. He said, “We call upon the ulama, leaders and workers of all levels of the Jamaat and the people of the country to perform Salatul Istiska, asking for the abundant mercy of Almighty Allah and rain to get rid of this situation prevailing in the country. For this reason, I am calling on the initiative of all the organizational branches of the Jamaat to make the program of Salatul Istiska successful with the public on Wednesday and Thursday.
Shafiqur Rahman said that the country’s weather has become extremely hot recently due to heavy rains and heavy rains. Due to the high temperature, it has become very difficult for the common people to carry out their daily activities. On the one hand, due to high temperature, extreme heat, on the other hand, the life of people, animals, birds and animals has become miserable. Only Almighty God can save us from this situation.
He also said that about 20 people have died so far in the severe heat wave (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). People all over the country are suffering in the heat. Especially the working people of various classes and occupations including farmers and laborers are suffering in the extreme heat in the field of work.
A rickshaw puller died in extreme heat in front of Dhaka Medical College Hospital on April 22. Several farmers died across the country. Due to severe drought, the fields have become dry. Crops are being destroyed. The growing paddy is getting wet. Forest animals and birds are suffering due to intense heat and plants are dying.
