A gathering has been organized on the occasion of Pahela Baisakh 1431 and Eid-ul-Fitr organized by the Bangladeshi community in China’s capital Beijing. In it, various kinds of Bangladeshi dishes are organized including local domestic games, Bengali folk music performance.
On Saturday (April 20) in Chaoyang Park, the heart of the city of Beijing, the Bangladeshi community organized this event, as well as people from different classes and professions, as well as expatriate students.
The meeting was sponsored by Engineer Md. Samshul Haq. Bangladesh China Youth Student Association General Secretary and PhD researcher Jannatul Arif served as coordinator. Capital University’s PhD researcher Dr. Md. Moniruzzaman Shihab and China University of Petroleum student Moin Uddin Helali Tauhid.
Shubhra, a student of North China Electric Power University, Arjun of Tsinghua University and Beijing Jiaotong University worked as team members to implement the Green Program to make the meeting of Bangladesh Community-2024 a success.
PhD researcher Umme Habiba Sadia, who came to the meeting, said, “It is always a pleasure for me to attend such programs outside the country. Shimul Chandra Sarkar, assistant professor of Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, who participated in the meeting, said, “I am excited to see so many local people together.” Unable to express feelings.

The end of the day-long meeting was announced with the distribution of prizes for various competitions and raffle draw. The teachers of various universities present awarded the prizes to the winners.
