Dhaka: A rickshaw driver named Abdul Awal (45) died on the road behind Dhaka Medical Nursing College. He is believed to have died of heat stroke.

On Monday (April 22nd) around 4:30 in the afternoon, the rickshaw driver was rescued and brought to the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the doctor on duty declared him dead.

At the hospital, Sub-Inspector (SI) of Shahbagh Police Station Suman Basak said, after receiving information, the rickshaw driver was brought to the hospital in an unconscious state from the road behind Dhaka Nursing College, and the doctor declared him dead.

SI Suman also said, speaking to the eyewitnesses, it is known that the rickshaw driver was shaking and unconscious after driving the rickshaw on the road behind the nursing college. He was rescued and rushed to the hospital. He is believed to have died of heat stroke in the extreme heat.

Dr. Dhaka Medical College Hospital Emergency Department Medical Officer. Kishore Kumar said, found a rickshaw puller dead. But whether his death was due to heat stroke or not, it will be known after the autopsy.

Mohibul Alam, the owner of deceased Abdul Awal’s rickshaw, said that Awal’s house is in Sinhagram of Lakhai police station in Habiganj district. Father’s name is Azam Ali. He lived in the Shibu market area of ​​Fatulla in Narayanganj and drove a rickshaw from my garage in Shanirakhra.
