The police recovered the bodies of two youths in separate incidents at Jatrabari in the capital. The deceased are Ratan Sardar (18) and another person whose identity is not known.

The incident took place on Sunday (21 April) between 11:30 and 9:30. Later, the bodies of both of them were recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue.

Jatrabari police sub-inspector (SI) Md. Nazmul Hossain Khan said that on receiving information, the body of a young man named Ratan Sardar was recovered from the main road in front of the distributor office of Mridhabari Unilever in Jatrabari.

He also said that a speeding car hit him from behind and the young man died on the spot due to head injuries. Later his body was recovered and sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue. The village house of the deceased is in Kalkini police station of Madaripur district. Currently lived in Dhalpur area of ​​Jatrabari.

On the other hand, the dead body of an unidentified person was recovered from the road next to the house of Siddique Mia, Jatrabari 31/10 South Sheikhdi No. 5 Road Abu Bakkar.

Jatrabari police sub-inspector (SI) Tapas Mondal said that his body was recovered at 9:30 pm after receiving information. After the legal process, the body was sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

He also said that the exact cause of death will be known after receiving the post-mortem report. The identity of the deceased is not yet known. Details are being sought. CID Crimes has been informed. He also said that his name will be known through fingerprint.
