Fires are raging in different parts of the country. People’s lives are about to be disrupted. The temperature exceeded 42 degrees, especially in some districts of the south-western region.

According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature was recorded at 42.2 degrees Celsius in the Chuadanga district of the country at 3 pm on Sunday. Yesterday, the highest temperature in the country was recorded at 42.6 degrees in Jessore. And the temperature in the capital Dhaka exceeded 40 degrees yesterday.

April, known as the hottest month, is still 10 days away. But in the meantime, people have become lazy in the intense heat. The Meteorological Office has already issued heat alerts or weather warnings in various districts and regions of the country.

In this summer, food and other matters should be taken care of naturally. Only then can you stay healthy. Let’s know what kind of food can be eaten to stay healthy this summer.

Summer is the best time to eat fresh fruits and vegetables to detoxify the body. It contains a lot of water and fiber. It is mandatory to have two servings of fruits and vegetables in the daily diet.

Water and liquid drinks like canned water, lemon juice, milk mold, whey, sugarcane juice etc. should be taken. Coffee, soft drinks and other caffeinated drinks act as diuretics (reduce water from the body). So it is better not to drink in excess.

One should eat easily digestible food avoiding excess oil, spicy fried food, so that the body temperature is controlled. Avoid excessively hot and cold food and carry liquid food with you while travelling.
