A Bangladeshi youth was killed in firing by the Indian Border Guard Force (BSF) at Putia border in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria.

This incident took place in the Putia border area of ​​Bayek Union of the upazila at around 9:30 am on Monday.

The deceased’s name is Hasan Mia (25). He is the son of Jaru Mia of Kayumpur Union of Kasba Upazila.

Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Raju Ahmed and Bangladesh Border Guard (BGB) 60 Battalion sources confirmed the truth of the incident.

According to local sources, the BSF opened fire on him while he was bringing sacks of sugar from the border on Monday morning. Later he was rescued and taken to the Upazila Health Complex where the doctor on duty declared him dead.
