Barisal: The people of the southern town of Barisal have been crushed by the continuous heat wave. The maximum temperature of the day is increasing.

People are disorientated because of the scorching heat outside. Working people are gasping for breath. Where there are shadows people are resting, drinking cold sherbet or dab for relief.

All in all, this heat wave is affecting the way of life. Those who have to run day by day have to gain momentum by not working. They said that they are not able to go to work in the hot weather, even if they get work, they are getting less wages because they cannot do it as before. The heat is unbearable for children and old people. There is no peace even inside the house, everyone is sweating due to heat, many are feeling sick due to dehydration.

The administrative wing of Barisal Sher E Bangla Medical College Hospital, the largest medical center in the south, said that due to the heat, more people have been admitted to medicine and CCU in the last few days. In whom the tendency of various diseases including shortness of breath, chest pain, convulsions has been noticed more.

And according to the latest information from the local meteorological office, the temperature near Barisal was recorded at 39 degrees Celsius at 3 am yesterday. However, the temperature will be known again today Sunday (April 21) after three o’clock in the afternoon. However, according to the latest information, the maximum temperature of 35 degrees Celsius is being felt in Barisal till 11:30 am. However, this temperature is causing havoc in the public life of Barisal.
