Chinese Ambassador’s Tribute at the Tomb of the Father of the Nation
Tungipara (Gopalganj), April 22, 2024 (BSS): Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh in Tungipara, Gopalganj.
Chinese Ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen paid tribute at Mujibur Rahman’s tomb.
He reached Tungipara at 10 am on Monday and paid tribute by placing wreaths at the tomb of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
Later, he stood silently beside the altar for a while and paid deep respect to the memory of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the great architect of independent Bangladesh, Father of the Nation.
Later, he participated in a special prayer for the peace of the souls of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, martyrs of August 15, 75 and 3 million martyrs who sacrificed themselves in the great liberation war.
After paying his respects, he went to the admin building of Tungipara Bangabandhu Samadhi Soudh. Signed the inspection book kept there.
After that, the Chinese ambassador visited various places of the father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman’s mausoleum in Tungipara.
At that time, Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj Kazi Mahbubul Alam, Superintendent of Police of Gopalganj Al Beli Afifa, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj Sarbik Md Golam Kabir, Tungipara Upazila Executive Officer Md Moinul Haque, Tungipara Police Station OC Khandkar Aminur Rahman and other officials of Chinese Embassy were present there.
