Also, some other unknown accused have been made in the case. However, while Masum Billah, who was arrested with 12 pieces of gold bars, went to jail, the other accused are absconding.

On Sunday (April 21), SI of Labanchara police station in Khulna and the informant of the case, Pradeep Vaidya confirmed the matter and said that Bangladesh Police is active in suppressing all crimes including smuggling. Efforts are being made to arrest the other absconding accused in the case.
He also said that after reviewing the CDMS of the accused, it was found that the two cases filed against the accused number two Alpha in Satkhira Sadar Police Station are ongoing.
