Dhaka: Due to the ongoing heat wave across the country including the capital, people are in a state of great unrest. Especially the working people are not able to work properly.
If you do a little work, you are panting. Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has provided clean water to all the men and women on the road, including those who are suffering from this heat.
From Sunday (April 21) morning, the DMP Wari Division distributed clean water to the people who were panting in the heat in the streets of different parts of the capital. Apart from this, Bhatara Police Station of Gulshan Division distributed clean water to the people who were panting in the heat.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (DC) Wari Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Iqbal Hossain said that under the direction of DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman, clean water and biscuits have been distributed to men and women on the road this summer. This work of distributing fresh water to people who are panting on the road due to heat will continue until the heat is over.
Meanwhile, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Bhatara Police Station of Gulshan Division Kazi Mainul Islam told Banglanews that under the direction of DMP Commissioner Sir, fresh water has been distributed among the people on the road in extreme heat. Due to intense heat, the people on the roads have become restless. The work of distributing water to quench their thirst will continue.
Besides, fresh water is being provided to the policemen on duty on the road.
