A theft has taken place in the office of Shajahanpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) officer of Bogra. On Friday (April 19) at some time during the day and night, two hard disk monitors, one laptop and two CCTV camera DVRs were stolen from the UNO office.

Shafiqul Islam, administrative officer of Shajahanpur upazila administration, filed a case at the police station as a plaintiff in this incident on Sunday (April 21).

According to the police, on Thursday (April 18) night, the officers and employees of the upazila administration left after office at around 11 pm. No one came there because the upazila administration was closed on Friday and Saturday. However, on Saturday afternoon, the office employee Mosta came and found the lock of a room broken.

When UNO Tahmida Akhtar was informed about the matter, he went there after getting the news. The electronic devices were stolen from three rooms of the office. The lock of one room was broken but the rest of the rooms were locked.

Shajahanpur Upazila UNO Tahmida Akhter and administrative officer Shafiqul Islam cut the mobile phone call as they were busy.

Shajahanpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Shahidul Islam told Jago News that the incident is being investigated very closely. Efforts are on to arrest the stolen goods and those involved.
