According to the minutes of the meeting, the decisions of the academic council of BUET were to postpone the remaining final examinations at the graduation level (July 2023 term) and to reschedule the examinations from March 30 to April 20. However, if a student participates in these exams, he will have the opportunity to decide whether he wants to take the exam again or not. If you don’t want to give it again or if you don’t give feedback on it within the stipulated time, those students will be given the grade obtained in the exam they participated in. However, if they want to take the exam again, the grade obtained in the exam taken on the rescheduled date will be given.
The minutes also said that the head of each department will discuss with the class-representatives of each batch of the graduation level with the required number of departmental teachers as soon as possible and formulate a proposal to reschedule the date of the exam and fix the possible date for the start of the exam and inform the authorities. After receiving the proposal for the rescheduled date of the examination of all the batches of all the departments, as soon as possible, the heads of all the departments along with the class-representatives will hold a meeting with the vice-chancellor, vice-chancellor, dean and related persons of BUET and formulate a proposal. After the overall review, the final proposal will be presented to the Academic Council for approval.
