One match ago, Rangpur won the title against Dhaka. They had to lose in the last match as well.

Rangpur lost to Sylhet by a huge margin of 201 runs at the Shahid Chandu Stadium in Bogra. Sylhet, who were all out for only 125 runs in the first innings, scored 442 runs in the second innings, Shamsur Rahman Shubo scored a century. Half centuries came from the bat of Nasum Ahmed and Zaker Ali Anik.

Rangpur was bowled out for 185 runs by Nasum after playing for a target of 386 runs. Nasum took 6 wickets with 33 runs in 16 overs. Rezaur Rahman Raja took two wickets. The maximum 40 runs for Rangpur came from the bat of Tanveer Haider.

In another match of Tier-1, Dhaka Metto and Dhaka division match was drawn. For the first two days no ball was rolled due to rain and wet outfield. On the third day of the match, he scored 77 runs for 2 wickets after batting 17 overs. They announced the innings by scoring 180 runs for 3 wickets.
