With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospital has increased to 3 lakh 3 thousand 536 people. The death toll has risen to 1562.
According to the Directorate of Health, 221 patients were admitted in Dhaka city and 863 in other hospitals in the country till Tuesday morning.
Among those who died in the last one day, 5 died in Dhaka and 3 outside Dhaka.
Among the admitted patients this year, 1 lakh 6 thousand 42 people were admitted in Dhaka and 1 lakh 97 thousand 494 people were admitted in different districts outside Dhaka. 909 people died of dengue in Dhaka. The remaining 653 died in different hospitals outside Dhaka.
Till Tuesday morning, 4 thousand 462 patients were receiving treatment in different hospitals of the country. Among them, 1128 people were receiving treatment in Dhaka and 3 thousand 334 people outside Dhaka.
As per month, 566 people were hospitalized due to dengue in January, 166 people in February, 111 people in March, 143 people in April, 1 thousand 36 people in May, 5 thousand 956 people in June, 43 thousand 876 people in July, 71 thousand 976 people in August, 79,598 people were hospitalized in September and 67,769 in October. 32 thousand 361 patients were admitted to the hospital in the first 21 days of November.
6 died in January, 3 in February, 2 in April, 2 in May, 34 in June, 204 in July, 342 in August, 396 in September and 359 in October. 214 people died in the first 20 days of November.
