Dhaka: Barisal and Chittagong divisions may experience rain on Wednesday. Skies may remain partly cloudy in other parts.
The Meteorological Office has given such a forecast on Tuesday (November 21).
Meteorologist Md. Tariful Newaz Kabir said that the normal low pressure is located over South Bay of Bengal, its extension extends to North Bay of Bengal.
Light rain is likely at two places each in Barisal and Chittagong divisions on Wednesday. Besides, the weather will remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies elsewhere in the country. Night temperatures may drop by 1-3 degrees Celsius across the country and day temperatures may drop slightly across the country.
Dhaka will have maximum wind speed of 8-12 km per hour from north/north-west direction.
The weather forecast for next Thursday and Friday said that the weather will remain mainly dry across the country with temporary partly cloudy skies. Night and day temperatures may remain almost unchanged across the country. The weather may change slightly during the extended five days.
On Tuesday, the lowest temperature in the country was recorded at 15.8 degrees Celsius in Tentulia. The minimum temperature recorded in Dhaka was 22.8 degrees Celsius.
