In the last 24 hours, 8 more people have died due to dengue disease in the country.

With this, a total of 1 thousand 562 people died due to dengue this year.

This information was informed in the notification sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health on Tuesday.

1 thousand 84 dengue patients have been admitted to the hospital in 24 hours till this morning.

With this, the number of dengue patients admitted to hospital has reached 3 lakh 3 thousand 536 this year.

At present, a total of 4 thousand 462 dengue patients are under treatment in different hospitals of the country.

Analyzing the data of the Department of Health and IEDCR, it can be seen that the official statistics of dengue cases and deaths so far this year have broken all the records of the last 24 years.

On November 15, 24 people died of dengue in the country, which is the highest death toll in a single day this year.

Earlier on September 20, 21 people died of dengue fever in a single day, which is the second highest death toll due to dengue this year. Before that, on September 2, 21 people died due to dengue.
