Kamruzzaman said that the resource person of today’s workshop is directly related to the Smart Bangladesh concept announced by Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said that if we talk about Smart Bangladesh, it started with the hands of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Through the long struggle of 24 years, he has shown the outlines of independent Bangladesh and what will happen in the future. In 1975, I deviated from the conviction of Sonar Bengal by brutally killing the Father of the Nation. The process of returning to orbit from that deviation began in 1996 with the hand of his own privileged daughter Hon’ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Especially after the formation of the government for the second time in 2009, he laid emphasis on the action plan of purification. Its main objective is to promote transparency, accountability and participatory governance. He said, we must play a role in building a developed, prosperous, smart Bangladesh that the honorable Prime Minister has announced by 2041. Finally, he thanked IQAC for organizing this kind of workshop.
