Child artist Simreen Lubaba has pardoned the cyber bully arrested in DB. Apart from this, Lubaba thanked all concerned including Dhaka Metropolitan Detective (DB) Police Chief Mohammad Harun Or Rashid for quickly arresting the accused.
Child artist Lubaba says, I thank Harun Ankel and DB team. They helped me a lot. They quickly took out the accused and arrested him. I didn’t expect it to happen so fast.
Lubaba gave this information while talking to reporters at Minto Road on Tuesday (November 21st) around 2:30 pm.
Lubaba said, Harun did not take two days after complaining to Ankel. He brought the man out. Now he is in DB office. He apologized to me. I forgave him. And those who are making such content, bullying me, I will tell them not to do this again.
I am being harassed in the cyber world, says Lubaba, saying that I am a victim of cyber bullying these days. Many videos have been made about me. One of these videos was very offensive. I approached Harun Ankel (head of DB) with my mom and dad about that video.
In this regard, Metropolitan Detective Chief and Additional Police Commissioner Mohammad Haroon Or Rashid said, Lubaba made a written complaint to us two days ago. He went to see a movie made on Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. Lubaba gave a tearful speech after watching the movie. By satirizing it, his speech was made viral. This complaint is investigated by our cyber department. Later we arrested a bully from Rajshahi. He is being interrogated.
