The decision to participate in the election is the Islamic unity

Islami Oikyazot has decided to take part in the 12th National Assembly elections. Leaders of this religious alliance announced this in a press conference at Jahur Hossain Chowdhury Hall of Jatiya Press Club on Monday (November 20) afternoon.

At that time, Mufti Faizullah, Secretary General of Islamic Unity, said, “Islamic Unity has continued its efforts to protect and establish the country’s independence and Islam since its establishment. Whenever there is an attack on the independent existence of the country and Islam, the Islamic unity has formed a formidable resistance against it. He did not hesitate to accept any sacrifice for the sake of protecting the country and Islam.

He said, ‘Islami Oikyazota has already participated in the dialogue of the Election Commission focusing on the upcoming national parliament elections. The Commission has promised that they are committed to conducting free, fair, impartial and participatory elections. Therefore, Sura has decided to participate in the upcoming National Assembly elections as in the past.
