‘Bangladesh will reach the peak of development if Sheikh Hasina is kept in power’

Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak termed the upcoming 12th national parliament election as a ‘trial election’.

Nanak said, you have to keep your eyes and ears open. You have to remember that the next election is an ordeal election. If Sheikh Hasina can be kept in power in that election, then Bangladesh will reach the peak of development.

He said these things at the foundation stone laying ceremony of Mohammadpur Agricultural Market in the capital on Tuesday afternoon.

Last October 14, the market got burnt in a terrible fire. After 60 days the work of rebuilding the market started.

Jahangir Kabir Nanak said that Tarek Rahman, acting chairman of BNP, aims to destabilize the country and said, ‘Tareek Rahman lives in London palace. He gave a speech like Laden from there. Tariq Rahman’s goal is – I will not allow the people of that country to live in peace.’
