Prime Minister is always sincere in the development of Sylhet: Anwaruzzaman

Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury said that the Prime Minister is always sincere in the development of Sylhet people. So at different times he approved big projects for the welfare of the city dwellers. In continuation of that, this time he approved the project of Tk 1 thousand 459 crores.

Thanking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Planning Minister MA Mannan, Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen and Local Government, Rural Development and Cooperatives Minister Tajul Islam on behalf of the city residents, the city mayor said, I will make Sylhet an ideal city by making maximum use of every rupee allocated by the government, inshallah.

The mayor said these things in a brief speech after the rally held on Sunday afternoon, thanking Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and three ministers for the approval of the project of Tk 1,459 crore for the overall infrastructure development of Sylhet City Corporation.

Organized by the mayor of Sylhet City Corporation. Under the leadership of Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury, the rally started from the front of Nagarbhaban and ended at Central Shahid Minar of Chowhatta via Bandarbazar, Court Point, Zindabazar. Sylhet city corporation councilors, officials and employees besides the city residents participated in the rally.

During the rally, citizens and pedestrians standing at different places of the city greeted Sisik with applause. Councilors and officials of CCIC also addressed the short gathering.

At this time, they reiterated their commitment to solve the civil problems of CSIC with the help of the Prime Minister and work sincerely to build an ideal city to live in.
