Dhaka: The sky may remain partly cloudy across the country. But the weather will be dry.

The Meteorological Office has given such a forecast on Sunday (November 12).

Assistant Meteorologist Kazi Zebunechcha said the Monsoon Normal Low Pressure is located over the South Bay of Bengal, its extension extends to the North Bay of Bengal. A low pressure is likely to develop over Southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas during the next two days.

Monday (November 13) will remain dry with partly cloudy skies across the country. Day and night temperatures will remain almost unchanged across the country. Dhaka will have maximum wind speed of 8-12 km per hour from north/north-west direction.

The forecast for Tuesday (November 14) and Wednesday (November 15) also says that the weather may remain dry across the country with temporary partly cloudy skies. Day and night temperatures will remain almost unchanged across the country. An extended five-day spell of rain is likely.

On Sunday, the lowest temperature of the country was recorded at 14.5 degrees Celsius in Tentulia. The maximum temperature recorded at Sitakunda was 33 degrees Celsius. The minimum and maximum temperature recorded in Dhaka was 20.8 degrees Celsius and 31.6 degrees Celsius respectively.
