The teacher recruitment circular is being revised – School

The Ministry of Education has taken the initiative to amend the circular issued on December 30, 2015 by assigning the responsibility of recruitment of entry-level teachers in private educational institutions to the Private Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) and determining the procedure to be followed for recruitment. A meeting has been called on November 21 (Tuesday) to revise this circular. The meeting will be held at noon on this day at the International Mother Language Institute under the chairmanship of Soleman Khan, Secretary of Secondary and Higher Education Department of the Ministry of Education.

The secondary and higher education department of the ministry published the notice issued by calling this meeting on Sunday.

It is reported that the Senior Secretary of Technical and Madrasa Education Department, two Additional Secretaries of Secondary and Higher Education Department, Chairman of NTRCA, Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and Directorate of Madrasa Education, Dhaka Board, Chairman of Madrasa Education Board and Technical Education Board and The deputy director of Dhaka region has been told.

In the circular issued on December 30, 2015 after the amendment of the private teacher registration examination and certification rules 2006, NTRCA was given the responsibility of selecting candidates for the recruitment of entry-level teachers in private educational institutions. The circular also laid down the procedure to be followed for the appointment of teachers. According to that circular, it was said to submit the demand for teacher appointable posts from private educational institutions to Upazila Secondary Education Office every year. Which was directed to be sent to NTRCA by 30 November every year through District Education Office. NTRCA was instructed to prepare national, divisional, district, upazila and Thanawari merit rankings and announce the results by taking the candidate selection test (registration test) every year.

In that circular, it was said that during the selection of candidates for the appointment of an educational institution, priority will be given in the upazila merit list. There were instructions to follow the district merit list if eligible candidates are not available in the upazila and if that is not available the departmental merit list and the latest national merit list.
