Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has called upon the people to face any situation with courage. He said, “Bangladesh must overcome man-made disasters like fires.”
He said this at the inauguration ceremony of Ghorashal-Palash Urea Fertilizer Factory (GPUFF) in Narsingdi district on Sunday (November 12). Sheikh Hasina said, “The way we deal with natural disasters, we will definitely take Bangladesh forward by overcoming man-made disasters like fires.” I am asking the countrymen to face any situation with courage.”
He said, “Bangladesh will move forward. Commodity prices have increased due to external factors such as wars, economic sanctions and global inflation. So don’t leave even an inch of land uncultivated. So that Bangladesh never has to turn to anyone for food.”
Sheikh Hasina said, “Bangladesh has repeatedly faced obstacles in its development journey. But no one could stop its progress. No one can stop this progress of Bangladesh.”
He said, “During the BNP regime, several farmers were killed while protesting for fertilizer in various places including Gaibandha, Tangail. Due to uninterrupted distribution and import of this fertilizer, there has been no shortage of urea fertilizer anywhere in the country in the last 15 years. Now there is enough stock of fertilizer in the country.”
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said, “The main basis of Bangladesh’s foreign policy is friendship with all, not enmity with anyone. And, this newly constructed fertilizer plant is an example of our foreign policy. Because friendly countries have helped Bangladesh to build large factories.”
