Khulna: Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is going to Khulna on Monday (November 13). He will address the public meeting organized by Awami League at Khulna Circuit House ground at 3 pm today.

To welcome the Prime Minister, numerous arches have been constructed on the main main road including the entrance to Khulna in Rupsa Par. Banners and festoons are adorning all the big and small roads.

Leaders and activists of Awami League and allied organizations are continuing to work extensively to make the Prime Minister’s public meeting a success. Government party leaders and activists are more excited than in the past about the arrival of the Prime Minister before the parliamentary elections.

Already, the work of making the padma bridge and boat-style meeting place has been completed in the circuit house grounds. The Prime Minister will address the departmental public meeting organized by Awami League here. He will inaugurate 22 development projects in Khulna and lay the foundation stones of two projects. You can also announce new commitments.

Meanwhile, the leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliated organizations are excited about the arrival of the Prime Minister. They are preparing for more than 1 million people in the departmental public meeting. For this reason, last-minute campaigning is going on at the district-upzilla and union level. Faizul Islam Tito, a young Awami League leader and stage committee member, said that all preparations including the stage have been completed to welcome the Prime Minister. Now it’s just a matter of waiting.

Sofikur Rahman Palash, president of Mahanagar Jubo League, who is hoping to be nominated for Khulna-4 constituency, told Banglanews that the Prime Minister has made more progress in Khulna than expected. Law enforcement personnel are on high alert throughout the metropolis, including public meeting places, and several layers of security have been created.

Khulna Metropolitan Police (KMP) Commissioner Mozammel Haque said that law enforcement forces are on high alert on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s arrival in Khulna.
