28 top business executives have been awarded at the Bangladesh C-Suite Awards organized by Bangladesh Brand Forum for their contributions in the field of business.

The second session of Bangladesh C-Suites Awards was held on Saturday (November 11) at the Radisson Blue Water Garden Hotel in the capital. About 350 business personalities participated in this year’s grand gala event.

Produced by the American International University of Bangladesh, hosted by Summit Communications Limited, in collaboration with BSRM and The Daily Star and organized by Aspire to Innovate (A2I), Smart Bangladesh Network and Namcon Consultancy Limited, the event is an annual initiative of Bangladesh Brand Forum. It awards top business executives of the country for outstanding achievements in their respective roles.

This year Bangladesh C-Suits Awards received more than 100 nominations from 35 organizations in 22 categories. These categories have been formed with the objective of fair alignment of C Suits management positions. Category wise winners are selected through due diligence by a jury session comprising of the country’s top category experts. Apart from this, awards were given in 3 other categories by Bangladesh Brand Forum. Apart from this, the second issue of Bangladesh Brand Forum’s bi-monthly magazine ‘CEO Review’ was published in this event.

Shariful Islam, founder and managing director of Bangladesh Brand Forum, in his welcome speech at the gala event said that this award serves as an inspiration for the development of top leadership in the business sector of Bangladesh. We started this initiative with two goals. Firstly, to celebrate the extraordinary achievements of the country’s top officials and secondly to present their success stories to the new generation.

Bangladesh C-Suits Awards 2023 were presented to two top executives of the management committee of Unilever Bangladesh Limited (UBL). UBL’s Corporate Affairs, Partnerships and Communications Director Shamima Akhter received the award in the ‘Chief Corporate Affairs Officer/CA Director of the Year’ category and UBL’s Supply Chain Director received the award in the ‘Chief Supply Chain Officer/Supply Chain Director of the Year’ category.
