But in the second match of the day, England pulled off a win against Pakistan to top Bangladesh and move into the top seven. Bangladesh comes down to eighth in the table. However, Bangladesh has a chance to play the Champions Trophy from this place as well. That’s why the Netherlands must lose today. India is the only unbeaten team in the current tournament. Rohit Sharma’s team tops the list with 16 points in 8 matches. So the last match of the league is just a formality for India. However, the hosts hope to win this match.
On the other hand, the Dutch are no less. They proved their mettle by defeating South Africa and England. With 4 points in two matches, they are at the 10th position. So it’s not like the Dutch will just give up.
