Arrested Rubel Fakir
Dhaka: In the name of renting a sublet room in Mirpur of the capital, Md. A person named Rono Mia (23) has been arrested by the police.
He was arrested from Mirpur 60 feet area on Saturday (November 11) night.
Arrested Rono is the son of Abdul Mannan Kazi of Paschim Shyampur village of Sadarpur police station in Faridpur district.
On Sunday (November 12), Mirpur Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Mohsin confirmed this information.
He said that Rubel Fakir advertised online for sublet rent. Seeing that advertisement, Rono came to rent a room on November 7. He stayed there for the night stating that he liked the room. If they ask him for the national identity card, he told the people who rented the room that he will give it in the morning. But they woke up in the morning and saw that Rono was not there. And his mobile phone, Tk 50,000 in cash and other valuables on the table are also missing. Rono ran away after locking the room from outside. Later, when a case was filed with the police station, Rono was arrested from 60 feet of Mirpur after conducting raids at various places. Later, based on the information given by him, the stolen mobile phone and other goods were seized from Savar.
