Sheikh Hasina said, we were in power from 1996 to 2001. I took the plan to do 18 thousand community clinics. We build about 10,000 clinics, out of which 4,000 are operational. Its success rate is about 70% within a year. There is a huge response among people. Because medicine is given there without money. Unfortunately, the Awami League could not come to power in the October 2001 elections. Then BNP came to power. Khaleda Zia, who became Prime Minister, immediately closed the community clinic. Deprives people of healthcare. This is our misfortune.
