Bangladesh’s World Cup campaign ended with a big loss against Australia yesterday. Before the end of the global tour, the Bangladesh team arrived at ten o’clock in the morning from India.

Due to the flight delay, the cricketers of Bangladesh reached the country’s soil 1 hour after the scheduled time. The remaining members of the team management have returned to the country without the foreign coaching staff. All the cricketers are back.

The cricketers are getting a chance to rest for a few days after returning home. After that, the first match of the two-match Test series will be played against New Zealand from 27th. Casp will start three days before that.

The first match will be held in Sylhet then the last test will be held at Mirpur Sher-e Bangla Stadium. And the Kiwis will set foot in Dhaka on November 22 to play two Tests.

In the beginning, it was known that the Bangladesh team will catch the flight to Dhaka at night after the match is over. The team was scheduled to leave for the country from Pune on a 1 am flight. However, it was later informed that Riyadh-Shantara will take the flight to the country in the morning, not at night.

Bangladesh has had a very bad World Cup this year. The team managed to win just one more match in the campaign that started with a win against Afghanistan. They are at number 8 in the points table with 2 wins in 9 matches. Their Champions League hopes hang in the balance.
