Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Habibur Rahman has ordered strict action against vandals, including setting fire to vehicles in the capital. He gave this instruction in view of the 48-hour continuous blockade program of the fourth phase called by BNP from 6 am tomorrow Sunday (November 12).

On Saturday (November 11) afternoon, the DMP Commissioner confirmed the truth of this information to the media.

This afternoon, DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman instructed a senior police officer on the wireless set and said, ‘Blockage tomorrow. The way our officers worked earlier, the work speed should be increased. Last time vandals burnt the car. Our officers were aware. That momentum will increase. We know that cars are burning in some places in the evening.’

Directing vigilance, he said, ‘DC (Deputy Commissioner), ADC (Additional Deputy Commissioner), AC (Assistant Commissioner), OC (Officer-in-Charge), Inspector (Investigation), Inspector (Operations) and other patrol teams should remain in the field till 12 midnight. . Everyone should be on the lookout, no one should somehow cause an incident.’

When asked about this, DMP Commissioner Habibur Rahman told the media, “Police officers in the field have been ordered to take strict action against those who are vandalizing, including setting fire to vehicles.”
