Natore: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the initiative to form Digital Bangladesh was taken in 2008. The country is moving forward on the path of Smart Bangladesh.

He said this at the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Regional Passport Office at Natore on Thursday (November 9) at 3 pm.

Today, because the Prime Minister talked about Smart Bangladesh, Digital Bangladesh has been 80 percent successful if not 100 percent. We are moving forward at breakneck speed.

Later he attended the peace and development rally organized by Sadar Upazila Awami League at Kanaikhali old bus stand area of Natore town at 4 pm as chief guest.
Earlier, the Home Minister inaugurated Bangabandhu Gallery and Mujib Corner at Natore Superintendent of Police office at 1:30 PM. He left for Natore by helicopter from Dhaka Old Airport and arrived at Natore Circuit House around 1 pm. District Awami League leaders including District Awami League President Advocate Sirajul Islam welcomed him there.
