Natore: Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the initiative to form Digital Bangladesh was taken in 2008. The country is moving forward on the path of Smart Bangladesh.

He said this at the inauguration of the newly constructed building of Regional Passport Office at Natore on Thursday (November 9) at 3 pm.
Before that, he inaugurated the newly constructed building of the regional passport office built at a cost of Tk. The public works department implemented the construction of a three-storey building on top of a five-storey building.

Today, because the Prime Minister talked about Smart Bangladesh, Digital Bangladesh has been 80 percent successful if not 100 percent. We are moving forward at breakneck speed.

Earlier, the Home Minister inaugurated Bangabandhu Gallery and Mujib Corner at Natore Superintendent of Police office at 1:30 PM. He left for Natore by helicopter from Dhaka Old Airport and arrived at Natore Circuit House around 1 pm. District Awami League leaders including District Awami League President Advocate Sirajul Islam welcomed him there.
