Trial run of ‘Smart Parking’ app to ease traffic congestion

Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) has taken up the experimental program of ‘Smart On Street Parking’ app to stop parking everywhere and solve the traffic congestion in the city. On Wednesday (November 8) at noon, the opening ceremony of the trial program of this app has been organized at the Nagar Bhawan of DNCC in Gulshan-2.

The program started at 12:30 PM. Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal is present as the chief guest at the event under the chairmanship of DNCC Mayor Atiqul Islam. LOCC, DNCC and Dhaka Metropolitan Police have implemented this project.

Speakers in the event said that the main objective of this project is to create a modern management for car parking in countries like developed countries. For that purpose, by starting in the form of a pilot on the designated roads of Dhaka North City Corporation, taking timely action by taking various opinions of users.
