A program has been organized in Dhaka on the occasion of three decades of singing career of Indian music artist Nachiketa Chakraborty.

Nachiketa will sing at the ‘Nachiketa Live in Dhaka with Joy Shahriar’ concert on Friday evening at Krishibid Institution auditorium in the capital.

This event has already been held in Kolkata under the title ‘Trishe Nachiketa’, this time it will be held in Dhaka.

Nachiketa’s show will telecast the concert live on entertainment platform Toffee. They said in a press release that they will make arrangements so that the audience can listen to Nachiketa’s music without attending the concert.

This artist came to Bangladesh to sing at the 75th anniversary of Chandpur Government College in February this year. At that time, Nachiketa was found in some domestic events in Dhaka as well.

Nachiketa’s fame spread across Kolkata-Dhaka in Bengal after the release of his album ‘Ai Besh Bho Achi’ in 1993. He has since released 18 more solo albums. There are also some mixed albums.

The singer has also done playback of popular songs like ‘Neelanjana’, ‘When Time Stands Still’, ‘Anirban’, ‘Vriddhashram’ in films. Sometimes he can be found in stage shows.

In addition to directing the music, he also sang in the Bangladesh-India joint production of the movie Sudden Rain. He also sang in Bollywood movies.
