Bangladesh government has appointed ambassadors in Kuwait, Switzerland, Thailand and Poland.
Ministry of Public Administration issued notification with these appointments on Tuesday night.
According to the order, Major General Md. Ashikuzzaman has been appointed to the post of Ambassador of Bangladesh in Kuwait for the next six months from November 17 on the condition of suspending his retirement leave and related benefits and giving up working relationships with other institutions and organizations.
Foreign Cadre Officer Mohammad Sufiur Rahman has been appointed as Permanent Representative to the Permanent Mission of Bangladesh to the United Nations in Geneva and Ambassador to the Embassy of Switzerland in Geneva for a period of six months from December 1.
BCS foreign cadre officer. Abdul Hai has been appointed as Ambassador of Bangladesh Embassy in Bangkok, Thailand for a period of six months from December 29 or the date of joining, on the condition that his retirement leave and related benefits are suspended and that he renounces working relationships with other institutions and organizations.
On the other hand, foreign cadre officer Sultana Laila Hossain has been appointed as ambassador to Poland for a period of six months from the date of joining on December 25 or on the condition of suspension of retirement leave and related benefits as well as severance of working relationship with other institutions and organizations.
