The Prime Minister will inaugurate 24 development projects in Khulna on November 13

Khulna, November 7, 2023 (BSS) : Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate 22 development projects and lay foundation stones of 2 development projects in Khulna on November 13.
According to the Khulna district administration, the documents of these 24 projects have already been sent to the Prime Minister’s office. Khulna Divisional Commissioner Khandkar Yasir Arefin told BASS today that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate 22 development projects with an expenditure of Tk 391.12 crore and lay the foundation stone of 2 other development projects from the grand gathering organized at Khulna Circuit House ground on November 13.
Out of 22 projects, 8 projects have been implemented by Public Works Department. They are: Genocide and Torture Archive and Museum Building, Civil Surgeon Office and Residential Building, Paikgacha Upazila Technical Training Center, Khulna Apprentice Training Office, Khulna BSTI Regional Office, Women Hostel Building, Paikgacha Upazila Sub-Registry Office Building Renovation and Modernization and Daulatpur Construction of Agricultural Training Institute student hostel. And the remaining 10 projects have been implemented by the Education Engineering Department (EED). They are: Dumuria Technical School and College, Boyra Secondary School, Khulna Collegiate School, Government LBK Degree Women’s College, Government Bangabandhu College, Chalan Bazar Government Girls High School, Talimul Millat Rahmatiya Fazil Madrasa, Nazrul Nagar Secondary School, RRF Secondary School and Arang Ghata. secondary school In addition, the Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of two projects namely: Construction of Sanitary Landfill and Dighlia Technical School and College. These will be implemented by KCC and EED respectively.
