Chittagong: Chittagong Press Club-Saif Powertech Annual Sports Competition Sports Sub-Committee meeting was held on Tuesday (November 7) in the club hall.
Club’s sports secretary and convenor of sports sub-committee M Sarwarul Alam Sohel presided over various aspects of sports management in the meeting, club general secretary Devdulal Bhowmik, sports sub-committee members Nirmal Chandra Dash, Abu Zafar Md. Haider, Zakir Hossain Lulu, Debashish Barua Debu, Golam Mawla Murad, Sultan Mahmud Salim, Saifullah Chowdhury, Shahnewaz Riton, Md. Ghulam Mortuza Ali, Rashed H Chowdhury and Omar Farooq.
The events were reviewed in the meeting. Due to a printing error in the list of events, the chess Under-50 and Over-50 and Badminton 50-over competitions were omitted, so it was decided to retain the events.
Members can participate in it. Members wishing to take part in the event are requested to submit their names to the club office by Saturday (November 11).
