From Jeddah (Saudi Arabia): Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for Dhaka after attending an international conference on women in Islam in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines departed for the country from Jeddah King Abdulaziz International Airport on Tuesday (November 7) at around 11 am local time.
He will reach Dhaka at 8 am on Wednesday (November 8).
Earlier, the Prime Minister came directly to Madinah from Dhaka last Sunday (November 5).
On the evening of the first day of his visit to Saudi Arabia, he visited the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
At night, the Prime Minister came to Jeddah from Medina by plane. He went to Makkah from Jeddah at night. There, the Prime Minister performed Umrah and offered prayers in Masjid Haram.
On the second day of the visit, he attended the opening ceremony of the exhibition entitled ‘Women in Islam’ at the Jeddah Hilton at 6 pm. The Prime Minister then attended and addressed the International Conference on Women in Islam.
In addition to attending the conference in Jeddah Hilton, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Secretary General Hiseen Brahim Taha, Vice President of Iran’s Department of Women and Family Affairs, Ensih Khazali, Executive Director of OIC Women’s Development Organization Dr. Afnan also met with Alshuaibi and Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
This international conference held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 6-8 was organized in Saudi Arabia in coordination with the OIC headquarters.
