A college girl who left the house after a 9-month love affair with her boyfriend’s hand and ran away, leaving her in Kazi’s office. The Kotyali Model Police Station of Barisal handed over the college girl to her family on Tuesday (November 7) morning.
It is known that the victim is a resident of Mirpur Kalshi area of Dhaka. She started a love relationship with Nahid, son of Harun Bepari of Barisal’s Muladi Upazila Sadar, 9 months ago. They came to a Kazi office in Banglabazar area of the city last Monday afternoon to get married. However, there was a fight between the two as there was no discussion about the cabin’s money.
The victim college girl said that Nahid brought her to talk about marriage, but later refused and detained her in Banglabazar area. There is a discussion between the two about this. At one point, when the locals came forward, Nahid managed to escape.
The college girl’s father said that he came to Barisal after receiving a police call from Kotyali Model Police Station. Later the police handed over the girl to him.
