BNP showed cowardice by canceling November 7 programme: Kader

Quader said, ‘November 7 is the National Day of BNP. This day is the day of their rise. Those who postpone their program on their national day, are they cowards? Do these cowardly politics suit? The courage of their movement was seen here. Why should people join their group?’

Obaidul Quader said these words at the discussion meeting of ‘Freedom Soldier Killing Day’ organized by Dhaka Metropolitan South Awami League at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital on Tuesday.

Quader said, “On this day, we observe the day of the killing of freedom fighters. One of the most bloody and shameful days in history. On this day, the sepoys rescued Ziaur Rahman, who was imprisoned in Colonel Taher cantonment in the name of public uprising. As a result, Zia killed Colonel Taher. Ziaur Rahman’s successors are still carrying out the politics of assassination and conspiracy in Bangladesh. They have corrupted the politics of Bangladesh. Khaleda-Tareq initiated the fire-terror. The flood of blood they spread all over Bangladesh. where now? Where did the extravagance go?’

Referring to the violence on October 28, Awami League general secretary said, when the situation turned bad on October 28, Mirza Fakhrul jumped down. He looks around and finds no one.
