Jatiyatavadi Chhatra Dal Central Joint General Secretary and former member secretary of Dhaka University (DU) Chhatra Dal demanded the search and release of Amanullah Aman.
In a press release signed by Md. Mahmudul Hasan, office secretary of DU Chhatra Dal on Monday (November 6), university branch president Khorshed Alam Sohel and general secretary Ariful Islam demanded his search and release.
The statement said that he was picked up by DB police members from Dhanmondi area on Sunday (November 5) morning during the preparations for the procession. Although more than a day has already passed, the family and the organization have not yet found any trace of him. Today’s fascist Awami Bakshali government has sent democracy into exile by taking away the freedom of speech, voting rights and democratic rights of the people in Bangladesh. In order to keep the midnight fascist Hasina government in power, some overzealous misguided members of the law and order forces brutally killed numerous Chhatra Dal leaders and activists across the country through disappearances, murders and crossfires. The families of the missing student leaders have been waiting for the return of their relatives for years.
The statement also said, already in various international media, such horrific incidents of brutality and demonization have continuously come up, which is severely damaging the image and honor of the country in the international arena. Based on these sources, the Bakshali Awami law and order forces, frightened by the unprecedented unity and mass awakening of the student society in Bangladesh through the one-stage demand movement aimed at the downfall of the tyrannical fascist Hasina government, are once again carrying out mass arrests and unprecedented inhumane tortures and are continuing their unsuccessful attempts to spread fear among the public. . We demand the immediate search of Amanullah Aman and demand that he be brought before the media and returned to his family.
