Metrorail is a new horizon in development journey

Dhaka: Bangladesh Workers Party President and Member of Parliament Comrade Rashed Khan Menon said that Metrorail has started a new horizon in the government’s development journey.

He said this while expressing his reaction when he was asked about his Metrorail travel experience when he arrived from Farmgate Station to Secretariat Station in just 8 minutes after riding the Metrorail on Monday (November 6) morning.

Rashed Khan Menon said that a new horizon has started in the communication and transportation system in Dhaka metropolis due to the launch of Metrorail. In this, the public can easily come and go from the north end of Dhaka metropolis to the south end in less time. It is a great initiative in the communication and development process of the country.

He also said that Metrorail has added a new trend to the development activities that have been completed during the tenure of this government. People will benefit from it.

His companions on the short train journey were Bangladesh Workers Party Politburo members Comrade Mahmudul Hasan Manik, Ali Ahmed Enamul Haque Emran and Party Dhaka Metropolitan North convener Sadakat Hossain Khan Babul.

Leaders of Dhaka Metropolitan South of Workers Party welcomed him with flowers at Bangladesh Secretariat Gate.

Central member Comrade Dipankar Saha Dipu, brave freedom fighter Abul Hossain, Mostafa Alamgir Ratan, central leader and convenor of Metropolitan South Kishore Roy, Kazi Anwarul Islam Tipu, Murshida Akhtar Nahar, Kazi Mahmudul Haque Sena, Jahangir Alam Fazlu, Shiuli Sikdar, were present at this time.
