Chittagong: Acting Mayor of Chittagong City Corporation Abdus Sabur Liton has commented that joint efforts are needed to implement the plan to build Chittagong as a beautiful city.
He made this comment in a discussion meeting with the department heads of Chasik on Monday (November 6) about speeding up waterlogging and cleaning activities.
The department heads were present under the leadership of Chief Executive Officer Sheikh Muhammad Tauhidul Islam in the meeting held at Chasik office of Tigerpass.
The Acting Mayor said that the Mayor, freedom fighter Rezaul Karim Chowdhury has planned to build Chittagong as a beautiful city.

Rezaul Karim Chowdhury left for Finland’s Turku city from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Monday at 7:30 a.m. on the invitation of ‘Haba-Underground Waste Storage System’. He will visit various modern systems of waste management developed by Haba Company there. His private secretary Abul Hashem is accompanying him. He is scheduled to return home on November 15 after his visit to Finland. Incumbent Panel Mayor-1 and Ward Councilor Abdus Sabur Liton is serving as Acting Mayor in Mayor Finland.
