Even on the second day of the second round of the blockade program called by BNP-Jamaat, the activities of the blockade supporters were not seen on the streets of Mymensingh. However, BNP-Jamaat protested the blockade and anarchy in the streets of the city
The ruling Awami League and its affiliates organized a motorcycle procession.
On Monday (November 6) at noon, they took out a huge motor procession under the leadership of District Awami League General Secretary Advocate Moazzem Hossain Babul.
At this time, from the premises of the city’s town hall, the leaders and activists of the Awami League and other organizations took out a procession on different roads in Sadar Upazila with the slogan ‘blockade of BNP-Jamaat, resistance in all areas’. Later they visited Ghagra, Begunbari, Kashempur, Vidyaganj Bazar, Nimtala Bazar and Ashtadhar Bazar in Sadar and went to Nazirabad School and College in Churkhai to conclude the program. A large number of activists participated in it.
Earlier in the rally before the procession, District Awami League General Secretary Advocate Moazzam Hossain Babul said that all-out resistance against Jamaat-BNP will continue. They will not be allowed on the streets anywhere in Mymensingh. We want Sheikh Hasina to form the government again through fair elections in Bangladesh.
Meanwhile, around the blockade program, there was very little long-distance traffic from this district to allow small vehicles to move normally on the internal roads of the city. The passenger crisis was also visible.
