Narayanganj-4 Member of Parliament AKM Shamim Osman commented that many people are leaving BNP secretly. He said, those who are sabotaging the boys by giving them false assurances will be punished in the future. But then these leaders will not be there. (BNP’s) many leaders are secretly trying to change the party.

He said this while addressing the peace rally of Narayanganj district and metropolitan Awami League leaders at around 11 am on Monday (November 6).

Shamim Osman said, we have not made any trouble yet. I can still see people’s cars being set on fire. People are being burned to death. I want to tell the countrymen through journalists, which is Bangladesh! We do not want such a country. On October 28, one of our policemen was killed in the name of the rally. Women were attacked. Awami League leaders are being attacked in different places. Journalists and members of any party are being brutally attacked. But we have no words to condemn the barbaric attack on them. Those who are wreaking havoc on children with false hope. But then these leaders will not be there.

He said, those who are sitting in London and plotting will not be able to do anything. Their aim is not elections, but to bring such a government that the country will be handed over to someone else. There will be elections in the country and Awami League will win. Those who do BNP are our children. But when something happens to them, no one from BNP will take responsibility. We don’t want people to get hurt.
