In support of the blockade called by BNP, the branch student group put up a banner at the academic and administrative building of the Islamic University (EB) in Kushtia. On Monday (November 6) around 7 o’clock in the morning, the activists led by the convenor of the organization Saheed Ahmed and member secretary Masud Rumi Mithun came to the campus and put up these banners. After receiving the news, the leaders and activists of the branch Chhatra League removed the banners. Apart from this, Chhatra League leaders and activists staged a motorcycle showdown in the campus and nearby areas around 1:15 in the afternoon to protest the blockade.
Banners hung by the Chhatra Dal read ‘Save the country, save the people’, ‘Repairing the state is in progress, sorry for the temporary inconvenience’.
In this regard, the convenor of the branch Chhatra Dal Saheed Ahmed said, ‘We have taken a stand in the campus by holding this program in the administration building and the academic building in order to implement the second round of blockade program in order to realize the one-sided demand for the one-sided demand for the attack, killing, arrest of the BNP assembly, elections under the caretaker government and the fall of the government. Our program in support of the blockade will continue.’
University proctor professor Dr. Shahadat Hossain Azad said, ‘We have heard. However, the proctorial body of the university did not get any kind of banner by attending there.
