Banners at the main gate of Khulna University (Khubi) and the main gate of Azam Khan Government Commerce College were reported to be locked.

Chhatra Dal leaders and activists hung two banners in support of the blockade by locking the gates of Commerce College at around 10:30 pm on Sunday night. The security personnel removed the banner placed at the gate of Khubi in the night.

Khulna Commerce College Principal Professor Karthik Chandra Mandal said that the security personnel said that some boys came around 11 last night and asked to open the main gate. But they didn’t open. Later the boys put up a banner outside and left. It was removed in the morning.

Security supervisor of Khulna University. Nazim Uddin said that the main gate has been closed for several days due to the construction of the drain. For now, everyone is traveling through the small gate next to the police outpost. No one outside locked the closed gate.

However, the staff in charge of the security of the gate said that at 10:37 pm, some boys put a banner on the closed gate. At that time it was opened.

Statements of Chhatra Dal leaders were not available. They provide pictures of hanging banners at night on social media. The numbers are closed since morning. Mobile numbers of all the leaders of Khulna District and Mahanagar Chhatra Dal have been closed.
